Thank you for registering for the 2008 Bellevue High School Cross Country Invitational at Lake Sammamish State Park! The 5k XC course is very flat....very fast and includes surfaces that are mostly non-paved (grass-sand-dirt) and starts on the BEACH of Lake Sammamish itself and finishes on a super fast grass runway in the middle picnic areas of the park!
Send in your complete roster to this site (www.athletic.net) by September 24, 2008. Each student will be issued a barcoded race numebr bib so it is not nesessary to designate what race/flight that they are participating in...you may do so, however, if you would like! The number is to be worn on the FRONT of the uniforms.
The Junior Varsity races are limited to SEVEN runners per school...the Varsity flights begin with each schools #7 & #8 runners and the Varsity flights of #7/8, #5/6 & #3/4 are BOYS and GIRLS COMBINED. The #1/2 flights for both boys and girls are seperate. The OPEN race is a combined event for ALL additional boys and girls runners NOT in a JV or Varsity flight.
At completion of races BOYS finish on LEFT side of chute, GIRLS finish on RIGHT side of chute. Individual awards will be handed at end of finish line chute with TOP 10 finish t-shirts in JV and Varsity flights...1-2-3 medals and ribbons for places 4-12.
Team awards and places will be announced following OPEN race at 2:00 P.M.
Event t-shirts will be sold for $10.
Water and a trainer will be on staff for post race needs.
The cost for this meet is $80 for combined teams ($40 for boys teams/$40 for girls teams) If less then 8 students are participating for a school then the cost is $5 per student. Either bring payment to day of meet OR send to:
