The course was the same as previous years, but considerably drier and firmer.
13 boys beat the previous Asan Beach course record set in 2006. 21 of the top 30 repeated from last year and ran an average of 1:40 faster this year.
4 girls were under the previous Asan Beach course record, set in 2006. 19 of the top 30 repeated from last year and ran an average of 0:41 faster than last year.

Nine of the top 15 girls were on the list last year. But next year could be a year of changes for boys and girls; 5 of the top 10 boys and 6 of the top 10 girls graduate. Best wishes to them if they choose to continue running in college; they`ve got what it takes.
