The 9th Annual Warner Pacific Open (Cascade College closed as of June 2009) will continue the same high standards you have come to expect at an event hosted by the WPC Knights. Since inception we have moved from Tabor Park, to Lents Park and last year to Westmoreland Park. This year (2010) we will return to the 2009 course in scenic Westmoreland Park.
The Open 5k @ 9:15 am, Women's and Men's Collegiate Races @ 10:00 and 10:30 am respectively, and the Junior Olympic Developmental Races beginning at approximately 11:00 am will be offered as usual.
Because of high numbers (100 each) in the high school girls and boys races (12:30 and 1:00 pm respectively) which we instituted last year, we are adding a non-scoring/combined boys and girls JV 5k race (1:30 pm) this year on the same course. Varsity entries will be limited to 12 and we will give individual awards to the top 5 boys and top 5 girls in the JV race.
