Road, Lake and Dune (HS)

Coaches,

We are excited to have you participate in the 36^th running of the “Road, Lake and Dune 5K” in Winchester Bay on Saturday. It will be a day filled for enthusiasts of cross country running with three races included. See the following schedule.

 

            11:00--Junior High Boys and Girls/Open Division (2.5 miles).

            11:40—JV/Varsity Girls (5K)

            12:20—JV/Varsity Boys (5K)

 

Awards will follow the varsity boys race (Metals for the top 5 girls and boys in each division and ribbons for places 5-10. Certificates for the top 5 finishers for the girls and boys in the junior high division.

 

There is an entrance fee of $30 for each team that attends. You can either bring this with you to the race or mail to: Reedsport Community Charter School

The course will be the same as last year in 2010 starting at the crabbing dock, the route takes you up to the light house, then down to the lake, Varsity runners will run around the lake to the trail which leads to the dunes. Runners will then follow the cones  on the dunes back to the road to finish where the race began.    As always, coaches will get complimentary doughnuts and finishers will receive fresh fruit.

 

Please email or fax a copy of your roster by Tuesday before the meet. Please join us for a day of competition and accomplishments. There is no place in September like the Oregon Coast.
