Welcome to the 2010 Region IV Cross-Country Running Championships.
Race Entries
We will be using athletic.net for entries and posting results after the meet is over. Race Entries are due by 5:00pm on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Please remember the requirements for the race categories:

Varsity - limited to 7 runners grades 9 to 12.

Junior Varsity - is limited to 7 runners grades 9 to 11.

Open - grades 9 to 12.
Academic Awards
Coaches, please provide your school's Activities Clerk with your Boys' and Girls' Varsity rosters with names spelled correctly (important for accessing records on the ASD's new system). Also, be sure the finalized Academic Award entries are faxed by noon on Thursday, September 23, 2010.

Race Course
The race course will be what's left of the old Region IV course. The course is the mize loop in a figure 8. The first half of the mize loop is done in a counter-clockwise fashion while the second half is done in a clockwise fashion with the start and finish in the stadium. It is a 5k course. Spiked shoes will work well (lots of dirt and grass). We will be staking off the course Friday (during the day). Using the map of the course below, the athletes follow the trails in this order: Blue > Green > Red > Green > Yellow.

The chalet is NOT available to us. There will be rent-a-cans in the lower parking lot and the bunker will be available for us to use. Please direct your student-athletes to the bunker.

Awards will take place after the last race.

Region IV attire will be sold in the stadium area.
