Welcome to Cross Country 2013

First day of practice— August 20 @ 4:00 pm. at Smith Park—required attendance. Please make every effort to be at practice this day. If you miss the first practice you must arrange to make up the workout or you will not be a part of the 2013 cross country team. Fees and physical exam should be completed at this time. Practice will be at 4 p.m. for the rest of the season.
When school begins, practice is M-F at 4:00 at Smith Park unless otherwise indicated. High school students that do not drive may take the bus to Smith Park.
Participation fees: MHS $120.00 (9-12th grade) . MJHS $100.00 (7-8th grade). This fee covers all transportation, meet entry fees, uniforms, and a team shirt. Please pay all fees in the Madison High accounting office.
Physicals: All runners must have a recent physical exam. If you had a physical last year, you will only need to update the current health history on the physical form. Otherwise you must receive a new physical exam this season. Fees and physicals must be turned in by Aug. 20. You can get the forms here. http://idhsaa.org/regforms/PhysicalExam.pdf
SATURDAY: There will be no practice on Saturdays. However, each runner will have an assigned Saturday workout to run on your own. Additionally, the team will meet for pancake runs on some Saturdays. These will be announced later. On pancake runs the coaches will make pancakes for the runners after the workout. We usually meet at Smith Park.
