Dear Coaches, athletes, and parents,
Welcome to another year of PAL Track & Field. Once again all meets will take place at Jesuit High School. Practice meets in April are scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. with the facility opening to the public at noon. Please be aware of the following:
1. Parents and other spectators should park in the student parking lot (Gordon lane entrance off Fair Oaks Blvd. The lower parking lot off American River Drive is reserved for coaches. If the lot is full, please park along the Jesuit side of American River Dr. Do not park on the service road which connects the student lot with American River Dr. or your vehicle will be towed.
2. There are no pre-entries for the practice meets but individuals are limited to a total of 4 events in any one meet. There is no school entry limit for individual events at the practice meets but schools may only enter one relay team per relay event. The clerk and announcer will mke three calls for athletes to check in for events. For running events check in will take place near the starting area for the event. For field events, check-in will take place at the event venue.
3. With anticipated large crowds, we ask spectators to stay off the in-field area of the track at all times. Only meet offcials, high and long jump partcipants, and athletes checking in are allowed on the in-field area. Spectators should also stay off the in-field area of the baseball field and away from the shot-put event area.
Additional information can be found on the PAL website. In the event of bad weather, we may have to cancel a practice meet. Please check the PAL website the morning of the meet for any special announcements.
