Eight places: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

Trophies to top boys and girls teams. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st-6th place.
Hytex scoring and FAT (Pyro-Flash) Timing will be used
3. Field Even:t
Each field event athlete will have 3 preliminary throws, or jumps, with the top 9 advancing to the finals. In the finals, three additional trials will be given to each athlete. All preliminary and final attempts count toward best effort.

5. Jumps
Girls’ and Boys’ high jump will start two inches below lowest incoming height. Two inch increments until 5’ then 1” increments (Girls) 2 inch increments until 6’ (Boys) then 1” increments.
Girls’ and Boys’ pole vault will start six inches below lowest incoming height. (Six inch increments until 9’ then 3 inch increments for girls). (6 inch increments until 11’, then 3” increments for boys).
6. State Qualification
5 boys and 4 girls will qualify from each event, including relays, to the State Meet at Eastern on Friday and Saturday, May 27-28, 2011. Additional entries are allowed to qualify if they meet the State Qualifying Standard during the SWW District 4 Meet.

12. Other Information:
Bus parking will be on the school side of the track along the back stretch. Athlete will enter at the corner gate.
Warm-up area for athletes will be on the infield between the high jump and javelin area.
Jewelry is prohibited with the exception of religious, or medical medals. They must be taped to the body.
¼ inch pyramid spikes will only be allowed on the track.
Coaches, spectator, and athletes not competing are not allowed on the infield. There will be a Coaches box for the pole vault on the infield near the pole vault pit.
800m and 1600m relays will be a three turn stagger.
Implements (Discus, Shot, and Javelin will be measured and weighed prior to competition, and put in a throwers pool that will be available for all competitors to use).
Pole Vaulters will be weighed before they vault and can only use a pole at or above their weight.
All team members shall wear the official school uniform during competition. Each member of a relay team must wear the same color and design of school uniform. The games committee has the authority to rule on whether or not a contestant is improperly dressed when competing.
