· The BMC District Track meet will follow the OSAA State Track Championships as much as possible.
· Scoring and placing will follow the OSAA State Championships formula; exception: if a team has more than three qualifying entries in a single event, those entries will also qualify for team points.
· Placing and scoring thru 8 places; medals for first and second, ribbons for 3rd thru 8th.
We will be charging for the district meet $6.00 adults and $ 4.00 students only OACA gold cards or OSAA media passes will be accepted. We will also be hosting the District Baseball Tournament. If a spectator pays at one venue they will be admitted without cost to the other event.
The Union FBLA Chapter will have concessions including – pizza and hamburgers
Each School has to provide their own towels.
We will be using athletic.net and your entries will be due by 8pm on Tuesday May 10. There can be no additional meet or event entries after that time. Athletes can be scratched from events at the scratch meeting, but no adds or changes will be permitted at the scratch meeting.
Each School may have three entries per event. If a team enters more than three, then all entries must have met the qualifying standard. Each Athletic Director has been previously provided with a copy of these standards.
Individuals entered in more than one event must compete in all events in which they are entered once the meet has begun. Any scratching from an event after the scratch meeting will result in the disqualification of that athlete for reminder of the day.
Each contestant in the field events will receive 3 preliminary trials in the shot put, discus, triple jump, long jump and javelin. The top nine will advance to the finals and will be given three additional trials.
Contestants will be seeded in the finals of running events by the meet director using their best performance as listed on athletic.net.
