Westview Team Challenge Info
"The meet where everyone counts"
The goal of the meet is to determine the strongest team. In the lane races, we will run 2 heats with the slowest heat going first and the fastest heat last.
Entry Fee:
$200 Please give to Janelle Brandt when she gives you your meet packet upon arrival at Westview.
Entries:
Due on Athletic.net by Tuesday night at 7 pm.
Each team is allowed 2 entries per event and one relay team. Added relays are 4x8 and 4x2. Don't forget to seed relay times!
Any changes after that time must be done by email.
Scratch Meeting:
3:15 in the press box. We will decide starting heights for the pole vault and high jump at that time.
Scoring:
all 16 places score. (20-18-16-14-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1)
In the relays, points are doubled (40-35-30-25-20-15-10-5).
Awards:
First through third place needs to report to the awards stand as soon as their race is over for their award. First place recieves a medal and 2nd - 6th receives a ribbon. 4th - 6th place ribbons will be places in an awards envelope with your team name in the press box. Please pick your awards packet and results in the press box at the conclusion of the meet.
The top 3 women's and men's teams will receive trophies, as well as an overall coed champion.
