Walston-Panther Relays
Good morning. We are so glad to have you and your athletes coming to the Walston-Panther Relays. Our staff at
Pantego Christian has been working hard to make this an efficient and enjoyable meet. I need to make sure that
you remember that this is a change in site for us and will be at the old (I hate to use that term but seems to be the
common name of it) Birdville Stadium in Haltom City (as opposed to the new Birdville Stadium in North Richland Hills
that has no track). It is right next to the Thomas Collesium. I am pleased that your entiries are coming in in a timely manner.
The only issue is please put a reasonable seed time especially if you have above average times otherwise the computer will put them in
the later heats. I want the best kids going against each other and then no one gets embarrassed. When you get to the stadium, we will
have a scratch meeting in the fieldhouse at the northwest end of the stadium. You will get your packet and enjoy some
nourishment as you get final instructions. You will not be able to add entries or substitute in events but we will want you to scratch
anyone who is not going to compete; we will then reenter this information prior to the start of the running events which will allow us to
have as full of heats as possible. In order to allow more kids to compete, we are allowing more than three athetes per individual event in
the JV Boys and Varsity Grils divisions.
