UPDATE
Due to the potential for rain the day of this event, we are limiting the number of entries per event to 4 for all field and running events. Relay races will be limited to 2 entry per team. We will be frosh/soph boys seperately. We're hoping this somewhat limits the amount of time we need to be out in the rain.
We are also going to have award trophies for male athlete of the meet, female athlete of the meet, first place varsity boys team and first place girls team.
Named after the winningist athletics coach in LHS history, the Dean Andreessen Classic offers a chance for athletes to post great times on an all-weather track early in the season. I’m looking for 10 teams to commit.
Meet: The Third AnnualDean Andreessen Classic
When: Saturday March 5, 2011. Field @ 10am and Track @ 11am.
Where: Falcon Stadium @ Atwater HS
2201 Fruitland Avenue
Atwater, Ca 95301
Host: Livingston High School
Venue: Nine lane all weather track, full snack bar.
Spikes: No larger than 3/16" pyramid and no needle tip spike.
Awards: TBA
Entries: Entries will be taken on athletic.net under Dean Andreessen Classic Hosted by Livingston HS. Please have entries in by Thursday March 3.
Cost: Cost is free! We ask that each team supply coaches to run at least one event and supply one adult timer. As entries come in duties will be assigned. We also ask that no outside food or beverage (water and sports drink ok) be brought in. Snack bar will be open for purchasing food and beverage. Gate cost will be $4 for adults and $2 for students with student ID.
