"Our Stripes Run Deep"
Coaches who are attending the 2011 Bandon Invitational: I want to thank you in advance for attending. All results will be uploaded to
www.athletic.net after the meet.
Safety: The infield is closed to all non-competitors. Coaches are allowed in the infield, but be careful. Please help us by keeping your non-competing athletes out of the infield.
Each team will only be allowed three (3) entries per event.
Javelin warm-up area: We will have an area to the west of the javelin sector flagged off for warm-up. Please be sure javelin competitors use that area for warm-up.
Heat and flights will be seeded. The best times will compete in the final heat of running events. For field events the flights may be adjusted to allow some what of a stagger for those athletes competing in multiple throws or jumps.
We will have four jumps/throws. Starting heights (negotiable): PV 6-0 and 8-0, HJ 4-0 and 5-0. There will be no finals. High Jump will have three attempts at each height as usual.
VERY IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ: Be sure to enter an override mark for each athlete for seeding purposes—especially in the running events. We just want to make sure that athletes are placed in the appropriate heat or flight.
Have your final entries on the site by Monday, May 2nd at 4 pm.
- This will give meet management time to import them into Hy-tek and get an idea about the number of heats and flights.
- You can make changes on the site (without contacting me) until 9 am on the day of the meet.
- Please take care of as many scratches, substitutions, etc., before the 9 am deadline. We will feed the coaches of all the teams who make NO changes to their entries at the meet.
- NO ADDITIONS WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER THE 9 AM DEADLINE ON MEET DAY. Scratches and substitutions ONLY!
There will be a Coaches Information & Scratch meeting at 3:30 pm in the weightroom located just behind our concession stand. Please make sure that all your athletes stay out of the weightroom unless they are getting weighed for pole vault certification.
