Welcome to the 2nd annual Terrace Twilight.
It is our intention to make the 2011 version of our meet an 8 team invitational. Your team must be confirmed in order to compete. Please contact Russ Vincent.
Our philosophy is to make this meet a team-focused event that is athlete friendly.
Facility
Edmonds Stadium is a very good facility, hosting big meets for years. Rubber Javelin runway as all the jumps, Discus just outside the stadium, shot inside. Please not spikes over 1/4 inch.
Team Entries
A comprehensive $85 entry fee from each school (combined boys and girls teams) should be sent to: Russ Vincent, Mountlake Terrace High School. 21801 44th Ave W. Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043. Make Checks payable to ESD 15.
Entry Procedure
Entries must be sent electronically via www.athletic.net by Thursday, April 14th. . Changes via website are encouraged until 4:00pm Friday, April 15th.
Changes can be made at the coaches meeting on the day of the meet but, with the flexibility we are offering during the week, we hope only to have scratches on meet day.
Running Event Entries
Each school may enter 2 athletes in all laned events, 3 in all others. Entries will be seeded by entry mark. Please be honest. Heats will go from slowest to fastest. The last heat will be the fastest heat. One relay team from each school may be entered. Stacking entries of teammates may occur in the 800 depending on heats.
Field Event Entries
Each school may enter up to three athletes in each field event. Athletes will be assigned in flights with the third flight the top 8 seeded. Three jumps or throws will be given in prelims with the top nine qualifying for three more jumps or throws in the finals.
Warm-ups: Warming up for all field events will only be allowed when an official is present. Safety is a top priority! A general warm-up will take place prior to the start of competition with an additional 5-minute period between flights and the finals.

Field Event Check-In
Athletes are to check-in with the officials at the respective field event area at least 15 minutes prior to the first flight of the event.
Running Event Check-In
Athletes are to check-in with the Clerk for each running event upon first call by the announcer. Coaches should inform the Clerk if an athlete is scratching an event.
Scoring and Awards
The top eight finishers in each event will score as follows: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. If there is a tie, the runner from the faster seeded heats will take priority. All entrants and relay teams may score.
Admission
$4 Admission per person, children under 12 are free.
Results
The top eight finishers in each event will be announced. Complete results of all heats and field events will be available as soon as possible at the conclusion of the meet and will be uploaded on athletics.net.
