Nine lane, all-weather track with fully-automatic-timing. Full concessions will be sold and admission to the meet is free of charge. Restrooms are easily accessible and stadium-style seating is provided.
Starting blocks will not be provided and are not permitted in GRPA meets. Implements (softball, shot put) will not be provided. Your athletes will compete with their own implements! Shoes are mandatory for all track and field events. In track and field competition, no shoes shall be allowed that have any metal on the bottom. Shoes shall be approved by the games committee. No jewelry is allowed.
Entries are available at: www.athletic.net. If you or your team is not registered with this website, you will first need to “Request a Coach’s Account” and add your team. Click “Login” on the top right then “Click here to get started”. After entering your team roster, you will complete your entries for this meet. Entries for the Softball Throw will go in this system as Weight Throw and Standing Long Jump entries as Triple Jump. Seed times are not required but are highly recommended. Online entries will close the day before the start of the meet at 5pm. Only scratches will be allowed after this time.
Athletes are limited to the following these parameters when registering for events: 2 running and 1 field event or vice-versa and all relays. Bantam - 7/8, Mite - 9/10, Midget - 11/12, Junior - 13/14.
The National Federation (National Alliance Edition) Track and Field Rules is the official guide for GRPA meets with exceptions as may be stated in the GRPA Manual.
Places 1 thru 8 will be scored as follows:10-8-6-4-2-1
Each jumper/thrower will have 1 warm-up and 2 official attempts (finals only format).
