Fort Zumwalt South will be hosting the 3rd Annual Zumwalt Quad Track and Field Meet. It will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd, with the first event beginning at 3:30 PM. This meet is for JV and Varsity Boys and Girls. Thank you for participating in the meet and showing great sportsmanship.
General Information
ENTRIES WILL BE DUE BY 2:00PM ON MARCH 22ND
Coaches meeting will be at 3 PM; Field events will start at 3:30 PM, running events at 4 PM.
Top 3 finishers will medal for varsity and junior varsity divisions
A 1st Place Plaque will be awarded to the winning varsity team; no team scores will be kept for junior varsity
We will score eight places: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Varsity entries: 5 individuals per event, 1 relay team
Junior varsity entries: unlimited individual, 2 relay teams
Athletes are limited to competing in 4 events, no crossovers allowed.

Pole Vault and High Jump will be run as start and go, athletes will come in at their opening heights for it to run continuously throughout meet
Long and Triple jumps – 4 jumps, no finals * Note time limits for each division
Shot Put and Discus – 4 throws, no finals * Note time limits for each division
Opening Heights will be determined at the coaches meeting
Every team will provide a worker for 1 field event and 1 timer.
Lighting could be an issue for field events, so please stress to your athletes to be on time and ready to go.
We will follow M.S.H.S.A.A. and N.F.H.S. handbook rules.
All teams should come dressed. Locker rooms will NOT be provided.
Restrooms will be provided. School is off limits.
Concessions will be available.
Our trainer will be available throughout the meet.
Tents must be in designated areas only – outside of fence area.
There will be a rolling schedule.
Please no tape on track or runways – tennis balls may be used for relays, chalk on runways
Each team will have duties/responsibilities.
Games committee will consist of 1 Head Coach from each school
Please remind athletes to stay off of the infield and finish line area.
Medals can be picked at the completion of the meet in the press box.
Results will be mailed / emailed. Please give current email address on meet day.
