Siuslaw vs. Coquille, Powers, Reedsport

Meet Site:  High School Track & Football Stadium, located behind (to the west) of Siuslaw Middle School, 2525 Oak Street in beautiful Florence, Oregon.

Entry Information: You must register for the meet on-line at www.athletic.net. If you have yet to enter a roster on the site you will need to do that first.  Your 8^th graders who participated last year are already on it.  Next add this meet to your event calendar.  In past years this has been required to enter your athletes for district, so this will end up saving you a ton of time after the initial set-up.   Once you have done it, printing lists of kids in events is simple – either by event or by athlete.  Plus – parents and kids love that they can check for PR’s easily, and compare their performances with other leagues and states even.   

WAY IMPORTANT   Register your 7^th grade athletes in events as 7B (7^th grade boys) and 7G (7^th grade girls) , your 8^th grade athletes in events as 8B (8^th grade boys), and 8G (8^th grade girls). 

Have your final entries on the site by Wednesday, April 13^th at 9:00 PM.

• This will give meet management time to import them into Hy-Tek and get an idea about the number of heats and flights.

• Please take care of as many scratches, substitutions, etc., before the 9:00 PM deadline.

• Please take care of any last minute substitutions with Coach Campbell at the meet, but before 3:00PM.

 Safety: The infield is closed to all non-competitors. Coaches are allowed in the infield, but be careful as we have all three throwing sectors in the infield. Please help us by keeping your non-competing athletes out of the infield.

 Please remind track athletes to remain in their lanes until cleared by the finish line clerk.  Remind field athletes to check out to run track events or to go to another field event.  Track events always take precedence over field events.

 Concessions are available including hot food.

This meet will run on a rolling schedule, which means the events will happen one after the other without any posted time schedule.  Any event of 3 or fewer contestants will probably be combined to save time.  Results will still be reported by grade and sex even if run together.

All results will be uploaded to www.athletic.net after the meet.  You may print results yourself from the site.
