District meet will take place at Eastern Oregon University in LaGrande.
Entries are due on Tuesday, May 10th by 5:00 p.m. Any changes to entries need to be in by Wednesday, May 11th @ 5:00 p.m.
Seeding for the meet will occur after 5:00 p.m. on Wed., May 11th
Scratch meeting starts @ 9:00 a.m. Weights and Measures are between 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Meet schedule will follow the same format at last year's district meet. However, field event schedule may be subject to change depending on field set-up at EOU.
Entries are unlimited, however,coaches that have more than three athletes in an individual event must declare their state qualifying athletes prior to the start of the meet. We have directed the meet manager to score only three athletes per school per event.
Seeding for the throwing events: javelin-worst to best, discus-best to worst, shot-worst to best. Triple jump will run before the long jump. Girls are first in all running events.
District records and state qualifying times have been included in the coach's meet packets.
We will need six exchange judges for the 4x100m relay.
Todd Shirley, athletic director of Cove H.S. and meet director, has asked John Roberts, from Joseph,to set up this year's district track meet.

Todd Shirley and Jason Crenshaw will be running the scratch meeting. John Roberts has requested that Brad Denton from Crane H.S. help run the scratch meeting.
Each school should be contacting Todd Shirley to notify him of which events your school will help judge/run. Each school should have no less than three helpers.
