ENTRY INFORMATION
Entries due: Tuesday, April 10, 2012 11:00 pm

Any changes made after that time will not be in the meet program.
Changes made after that time should be emailed to Cheryl_wardell@beaverton.k12.or.us
Additional changes after Friday at 12 need to be made at the scratch/add meeting Friday at 3:30 pm
FEES
The entry fee is $200 due April 11th.
Please make check out to Westview Track and Field.
An invoice will be sent by email.
EVENTS and SCORING
We will be using the same format as in years past. Each team is allowed two entries per
event and one relay team. In the lane races, we will run two heats with the slowest heat
going first and the fastest heat last. In the relays we will run one heat. The goal of the
meet is to determine the strongest track and field team. In order to determine the
strongest team,
we will be scoring all sixteen places (20-18-16-15-14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1).
In the relays, points are doubled (40-35-30-25-20-15-10-5). We will be
running two additional relay events that will allow you to involve more kids. They will be
a 4x200 relay and a 4x800 relay. Both events will be scored. First through third places
will receive medals. While, ribbons will be awarded to the fourth through eighth places in
each event. The top four men’s and women’s teams will receive trophies, as well as an
overall coed champion. Please remember to put a seed time on all 4 relays!
FIELD EVENTS
Start time 4:15
Starting heights for the vertical jumps will be determined during the scratch/add meeting.
FIRST AID
A tent will be set up near the finish line for those who need assistance. A trainer will be on site for the meet.
COACHES HOSPITALITY TENT
Please let me know how many coaches meal tickets you will need. They will be in your meet packet.
T SHIRTS
Team Challenge T shirts will be available for $12
LOCKER ROOMS
Will be available for all athletes.
RESULTS
Results will be posted on the south side of the concession stand. They will also be posted on Athletic.net after the meet.
AWARDS
Top 3 finishers should report immediately after the event to the awards stand to receive their medal. Please pick up your award packet with ribbons available at the end of the meet. Also trophies for the top 3 teams and overall team will be awarded at the conclusion of the meet.
DISTANCE EVENTS
Hip tags are provided in the meet packet for the 800 1500 and 3000. Be sure to place them on the athlete’s right hip.
