Re: 38th ANNUAL TRAVERSE CITY RECORD – EAGLE HONOR ROLL TRACK MEET May 29, 2012
Following are instructions for 2012 Honor Roll entries. The Scratch meeting is Friday May 25, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at the Traverse City Central High School Gym, in the conference rioom by the cafeteria. Coaches must be in attendance or their athletes will not be entered. Bayshore Marathon runners will be picking up packets… be aware.
Entries are due by Thursday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. and are made by coaches using www.athletic.net system. All seed times need to be FAT times entered on athletic.net. This makes entering your athletes easier using the times already on the website without adjustment to hand times. Use only FAT times that are already on athletic.net.
Only 8 will race finals in sprints, and a minimum 12 in distance events and field events. Size of distance events and field events finals and starting heights will be decided at the scratch meeting.
Meet Day Schedule: Tuesday, May 29, 2012 We will run ahead of schedule if able
Only alternates determined from scratch meeting will be used for scratches on meet day! Bring alternates to the meet and have them ready to run. We will not re-seed but will try not to have empty lanes!

4:00 Girls Pole Vault followed by Boys
5:00 All Timers and Judges check in the Track Building
5:15 Girls High Jump – Boys Discus followed by Girls
Boys Long Jump followed by girls – Girls Shot Put followed by Boys
(Running events – Boys in even years Girls first in odd years,)
5:30 3200m Relay
5:55 Parade of Schools - Assign a boy and girl from each team
6:10 National Anthem
6:25 100m/110m High Hurdles
6:40 100m Dash
6:50 800m Relay
7:00 1600m
7:15 400m Relay
7:25 400m Dash
7:35 300m Hurdles
8:00 800m Run
8:15 200m Dash
8:25 3200m Run
9:50 1600m Relay
Top 5 MEDALS PRESENTED AT THE CONCLUSION OF EACH EVENT ON THE AWARDS PODIUM. KEEP ATHLETES READY TO RECEIVE AWARDS (No team Score)
Please remind your athletes to be present for this special ceremony following each event.
$5 Admission will be charged spectators, and parking is in the high school parking lot ONLY. Cars in NMC lots will be towed.
