Dear Track Coach,
Coaches this year’s March 2, 2012 Invitational Meet will be a maximum Eight team meet. We will still be running finals only. The computer will assign each team random lanes in all running events, relays and field events.
Athletes may compete in 3 running and 2 field events or 2 running and 3 field events. UIL allows an athlete to compete in no more than 2 races that are 1 lap or over (excluding the 4 x 400 relay).
Field events will be limited to THREE varsity attempts and THREE JV attempts.
There will be 4 Divisions Division I (JV – Girls)
Division II (Varsity Girls)
Division III (JV – Boys)
Division IV (Varsity Boys)
The meet will be held at McNiel Junior High School, across the parking lot from Memorial Stadium. This year’s meet will include all UIL events. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event; plaques will be given to first place finishers in each relay. First place team trophies will be awarded in each division. We will be running on a brand new track this year!!!

The entry fee for this year’s meet will be $140.00 per team for Varsity
Teams in Divisions II & IV.
Division I & III team(Junior Varsity) entry fees will be $100.00 per team.

SCTATCH MEETING: Friday March 2, 2012
Scratch Meeting will begin at 2:30pm. Remember teams will be assigned lanes & field event positions prior to the day of the meet. Coaches you can make scratches only on the day of the meet. The Meeting will be held in the new dressing rooms beside the track.

Coaches, this year our concession stand has expressed and interest in providing meals for $5.00 per athlete to feed your teams. If you are interested in feeding your team at the concession stand please email Coach McNeese by February 24, 2012 with a total number of meals you may need. (Coaches meal at the concession will be free but I need a count of your coaches as well.)
The meal deal includes a Hamburger, BBQ or ham and cheese sandwich, chips, cookies, and a drink.
