Welcome to the 2012 edition of the Mount Si Invitational.
This will be an 8 team invitational. Please indicate your interest by accepting your invitation through the athletic.net website. You will then receive official confirmation from Mount Si via email. This email will clarify the payment process and any other significant details not listed below. Please contact Dave Clifford (cliffordd@svsd410.org) or Gregg Meyers (meyersg@svsd410.org) with further questions.
Our philosophy is to make this meet a team-focused event that is athlete friendly.
Facility
The Mount Si High School track facility is a very good track and field facility; it has a Mondo track and Mondo runways for the field events (please, no spikes over 1/4 inch). All events are contested within the track oval or immediately adjacent to the track. The running events have automatic timing. There is cover near the warm-up area but teams should bring tents.
Team Entries
A comprehensive $100 entry fee from each school (combined boys and girls teams) should be made payable to: Mount Si Track & Field Booster Club; and sent to: 8651 Meadowbrook Way S.E., Snoqualmie, WA 98065.
Entry Procedure
Entries are due via www.athletic.net by Thursday, April 19th, 8:00 p.m. Changes via website are encouraged until 4:00pm Friday, April 20th.
Changes can be made at the coaches meeting on the day of the meet but, with the flexibility we are offering during the week, we need to have only scratches on meet day.
Running Event Entries
Each school may enter 2 athletes in each event. Entries will be seeded by entry mark. Heats will go from slowest to fastest. The last heat will be the fastest heat. 1 relay team from each school may be entered.
Field Event Entries
Each school may enter 2 athletes in each field event. Athletes will be assigned in flights with the second flight the top 8 seeded. Three jumps (long and triple jumps) or throws will be given in prelims with the top 9 qualifying for three more jumps or throws in the finals.
Warm-ups: Warming up for all field events will only be allowed when an official is present. Safety is a top priority! A general warm-up will take place prior to the start of competition with an additional 5-minute period between flights and the finals. All warm ups will be conducted in a separate area from the field events.
Entries are due Thursday, April 19th, 2012 on athletic.net

Athletes are to check-in with the officials at the respective field event area at least 15 minutes prior to the first flight of the event.
Running Event Check-In
