You will need to start singing up athletes by Friday the 8th, but will be able to change, delete, or add entries up until late in the evening on Wednesday April 11th.

Dear Athletic Director/Track Coaches:
The Del Wicks Invitational Track and Field meet will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Superior High School, in Superior, NE. Scratch meeting will be held at 9:30 A.M. and field events will begin at 10:00 A.M. Running events will begin at 1:00 P.M.
Teams participating include Deshler, Meridian, Lawrence-Nelson, Thayer Central, Friend, Dorchester, Superior, Nebraska Lutheran, and Rock Hills, KS.
Entry fee is $150.00. Please make checks payable to Deshler High School.
Superior requires 1/8 inch spikes be used on their surface. No one with spikes longer than 1/8 inch will be permitted to participate.
Medals will be awarded to the top six places in each individual and relay events. A trophy will be awarded to the girls and boys champion as well as a combined champion of boys/girls teams.
You may enter three (3) contestants per event and one relay team. Please indicate all times for metric distances. Entries should be completed on-line. The attached document included with this letter provides instructions.
Once again, we will need your help running events. A list is enclosed with the work assignments. Please use your own tape measures and student help. We will have a limited amount of help for this meet.
Please inform spectators that once the track events begin only contestants and managers will be allowed in the infield. Also, ask your contestants to stay away from the finish line. Congestion at the finish line has caused problems in the past. We hope to solve that problem by asking that only Coaches who are picking and timing be at the finish line area.
Concessions will be provided during the meet.
