SK RELAYS
A track and field relay meet featuring six running relays and seven field event relays for both boys and girls. Individual events include hurdle races for both girls and boys; 3000 meter steeplechase over 36” barriers for boys, 2000 meter steeplechase over 30” barriers for girls.
Entry fee is $150 per school make checks out to SKHS ASB TRACK

The running relays will consist of four athletes per team. The field event relays will consist of three athletes per team
Individual events
Steeplechase – two runners per school maximum.
Hurdles races- one athlete per school per event.
Places will be determined by the best over all times for the running relays. The teams total height/distance in the field events will determine the order of finish.
Competition in the field events except in high jump and pole vault will consist of three attempts by each member of each team.
HJ and PV will be conducted according to normal rules. Opening heights PV will be 9’ for boys and 6’6” for girls. HJ will be 5’ for boys and 4’4” for girls.
Awards
Ribbons will be awarded for the first eight places in each event, and Team plaques to champions.
Rules for the meet – W.I.A.A rules regarding number of events per participant, school issued uniforms; etc will govern athlete’s participation. Lane exchanging and filling of vacant lanes by unassigned athletes without approval of clerk will be prohibited.
Concessions will be available through out the meet.
