On this list, all hand times are rounded up to nearest tenth but are not converted by adding 0.24 seconds. On the other hand, the automatically generated lists in athletic.net do convert hand times and the letter c is added. In other words, hand times can be distinguished from FAT times by listing in 10ths and 100ths.  Hand times for races under 400 meters are very problematic.  Few meets have been run in accordance with high school Federation rules: using wind gauge for 100, 200; using 3 independent watches (middle watch is official time), and even rounding up times when reporting results.

ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS should be sent to Bruce Carrick

Previous   Should have been rounded up to 10.3. No wind information. This mark would have been the top high school mark in all of Japan in 2010 (top mark 10.30). Not all coaches accept the accuracy of this mark in that the use of multiple independent watches in accordance with HS Federation rules has not been confirmed.   12.5 Johnson 1980 Yokota

This mark would have been the top mark in all of Japan in 2010 (top mark 11.78).

The same concerns as the boys' record apply.
