GCS Tuesday Night Invite

We will be hosting a meet this Tuesday evening at the Dome for Region III Track & Field teams.

 Entries are due by 7:00 pm Monday evening.

The schedule will be as follows:

Coaches meeting at 2:30

3:00 - Check In, Boys & Girls Long Jump (get marks at this time)

Boys - Lane 6 Pit    Girls - Lane 2 Pit

3:15 - Jumping Begins

This will be in flights with 3 jumps per athlete entered, no finals

Triple Jump will follow

3:20 - Check In Girls 3200m

The 3200 will be run while the jumping is going on

We should be able to get everyone in in one heat, but that will depend on the number of entries

The rest of the events will follow

Boys 3200m

Girls 100m

Boys 100m

Girls 300h

Boys 300h

Gils 800m

Boys 800m

Girls 200

Boys 200

Girls 4x400?

Boys 4x400?

We will run the 4x400, time permitting - We have to be out of the dome by 7:00

Entries are unlimited, but please don't go crazy.  Typically we end up with 30+ heats in the 200 which takes forever.  We definately want this to be worth your while, but we don't want it to be time trials for your entire team.

We are going to limit athletes to 3 events during the meet (not including the 4x400)

Because ASD has the fields in the Dome booked for the year, there is no time we can get in there to High Jump or Throw.

There will be a $200 fee per team to pay for the Track rental.
