Dressing Rooms:
Bathrooms are located by the concession stand area behind the stadium.
Porta-potties will be available near the clerk of the course.
Admissions:
$6.00 – Adults & Students without ASB card
$4.00 – Students with ASB & Senior Citizens
Starting Heights:
Starting height for the pole vault and high jump will be one height below that
of the lowest qualifier and determined at the event.
Awards: Awards will be presented to the top eight places in each event. Medals will be awarded to the first through third place and ribbons for fourth through eighth place. Awards will be given immediately at the completion of the event at the awards area.
Field Events: Each participant will throw/jump in random order as they are ready and in the line for the preliminaries. The prelims in each field event will last for one hour. With the exception of the pole vault and the high jump, field events will be divided into three flights. The competitors with the top eight marks after three attempts in the preliminaries in the non-bar events will advance to the finals. These competitors will throw/jump in reverse order of their preliminary marks for an additional three attempts. Competitors in the high jump and pole vault will jump in continuing flights of five (five alive) until there are six or less competitors remaining in the competition.
Directions to Yelm High School:
Traveling north or south on I-5, take the Yelm/Marvin road exit (#111). Turn on Marvin road following signs to Yelm and continue for about three miles to Highway 510. Turn left on 510 and continue for about 15 miles. The high school is on the right side of 510 just before you come into the town of Yelm.
Coming from the Auburn, Kent, Puyallup area – Take 512 West to Pacific Avenue, go south (left) to Roy Y, follow signs to Yelm (about 15 miles from turnoff) Yelm High School is one mile on the left after fourth stoplight in Yelm.
