Welcome to the 7th annual Tomahawk Track & Field Classic.
Coaches: Your team entry will be confirmed based on meet limitations.
Our philosophy is to make this meet a team-focused event that is athlete friendly.
Marysville-Pilchuck’s track and field event facilities are not great. Honestly, our track is not in good shape. We have done the best we can with limited financial support. The grandstand is covered. It is requested that ¼ inch spikes maximum be used. Runways for jumps are in good condition. High jump can be slick if wet, longer spikes will be allowed. The shot and discus events are thrown inside the stadium area. The javelin will be thrown from a grass runway. All events, except javelin, can be seen from the grandstands.
A comprehensive $100 entry fee from each school (combined boys and girls teams) should be sent to: Randy Davis, MPHS, 5611 108th St NE, Marysville, WA, 98271. Checks should be payable to: MPHS Track & Field
Entries must be sent electronically via www.athletic.net by Wednesday, April 22th. Changes via website are encouraged until 4:00pm Friday, April 24th. We would like all changes on the day of the meet to be scratches if at all possible.
Running Event Entries
Each school may enter two athletes in all events up through 800 meters. Entries will be seeded by entry mark. Please be honest. Heats will go from slowest to fastest. The last heat will be the fastest heat. You may enter up to three athletes in the 1600 and 3200, one heat and we will waterfall the start. One relay team from each school may be entered. Stacking entries of teammates may occur in the 800 depending on heats.
Field Event Entries
Each school may enter up to two athletes in each field event. Athletes will be assigned in flights with the third flight the top 8 seeded jumpers. Three jumps or throws will be given in prelims with the top eight qualifying for three more jumps or throws in the finals.

Entries are due Wednesday, April 22rd, 2009 on athletic.net
