Entries: * All entries must be submitted on athletic.net by Tuesday, April 13.
* Additions and/or subtractions will be accepted until Friday, April 16 @
10 AM. These may be faxed to Carolyn Shaw or updated on athletic.net.
Meet Management
- There will be NO scratch meeting.
- Field Events will begin at 3:30 PM and Running Events at 4:15 PM.
- Please have athletes at the proper starting point on time. This will ensure smooth transitions between events and a more efficient meet.
- Scoring will be through eight places (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1) including relay.
- Ribbons will be awarded through the first six places and will be available at the bottom steps of the crow’s nest at the completion of the meet.
- Trophies will be awarded for 1st place boys’ and 1st place girls’ teams.
- Dressing facilities will not be available. Please secure your belongings.
- Non-event participants are asked to remain in the stands. Only event participants will be allowed on the infield.
- Contestants shall not enter more than four events (Track and/or field). National Federation of State High School Association rules will apply.
- Results will be posted on athletic.net.
Entry and Event Regulations
- No entries will be allowed after Friday, April 16 at 10 AM. Only scratches will be allowed at the event. NO substitution will be allowed at the event.
- Each school will be allowed only one relay team in each race.
- Each school can enter up to three participants in each event and may have unlimited entries in races 1500 meters and 3000 meters.
- An electronic timing system will be used.
- Lanes and heats will be assigned according to best times submitted April 16. Athletes with “No Times” submitted will be placed in slower heats. Over ride times will not be accepted.
- All races are finals.Field events will have three tries with top 8 competitors completing in the finals (three additional throws).
- Athletes may not remove themselves from any competition. Only a coach may scratch an athlete by notifying the head judge or the clerk of the course.
- A two (2) point deduction in team score will result for any participants removing themselves from any event or not showing up. Injuries must be communicated to the event judge or clerk.
