Schedule
1:30 -Scratch Meeting at the Clerk’s tent.
1:30 - Pole Vault
2:00 - Field events begin.
2:30 - Running events begin.
Admission
Inform your spectators there will be an admission fee of $4.00 per adult and $3.00 for children (under 12), students or seniors.
Entries
Enter your ROSTER ONLY online at www.athletic.net before May 14. Identify whether each athlete will be competing in Varsity or Junior Varsity.
Entries will be faxed by SCL and SVL meet Directors by Saturday, May 15th.

The top three competitors in each event at the SCL and SVL League meets, qualify automatically to the Division III meet.

The next two best marks from the combined results of the SCL and SVL League meets will fill the remaining two entries in each event.

The next non-qualifier from each league, in each event, will be a “league specific” alternate.
Entry Fees
A $6.00 fee per athlete will be assessed and be billed to each school for those competing that day. Please complete the enclosed competitors list and submit it to the meet director at the scratch meeting.
Scoring
Scoring for all events will be 10-8-6-4-2-1.
Running Events
All running events will be finals. Relay cards are enclosed. Complete them before you arrive and submit them at the scratch meeting.
Field Events
Competitors in the Long Jump, Triple Jump. Shot Put and Discus will be allowed three (3) trial attempts. Following trials, the top seven competitors from trials will be re-seeded and be given three (3) additional attempts. All six (6) attempts will carry-over for scoring purposes. Jump starting heights will be two (2) inches below the lowest entry mark for High Jump and six (6) inches below the lowest entry mark for Pole Vault.
Spikes
Track and jumping surfaces are all-weather Atlas Urethane. Only ¼ inch spikes or smaller are allowed. NO NEEDLE NOSE!

Note your school’s officiating responsibility below for the Division III Track & Field Championships. These officials must be adults! Equipment will be provided.

Results will be uploaded to athletic.net. Saturday, May 22nd .
Reporting to the Clerk-of the-Course
The clerk’s tent is located at the middle of the football field. Competitors in running events must report to the clerk by 2nd call. At 3rd call scratches will be made, and alternates will be inserted into the race. Competitors will then be escorted to the starting line. All field event competitors will report directly to the field event.
Meet Rules
2010 National Federation Rules will apply. Uniform rules will be enforced, especially for relays. Please check your relay teams for “undergarment compliance” according to the 2010 rulebook. Remember…NO JEWELRY!
Awards
Medals will be awarded for the top three (3) places per Varsity and Junior Varsity events. Team plaques will be awarded to the winning teams in each division. Northern Section championship patches and pins will be awarded to the members of winning Varsity teams. Please pick-up your awards at the Press Box when you leave.

Second place varsity finishers might qualify “at large.”

The next non-qualifier in each event will be an alternate.
Warm-up Area vs. Tent City (i.e. “team headquarters”)
The football infield will be off limits to athletes not in an ongoing event. Warm-ups must occur off the track and infield. Tents or team headquarters will be allowed in the bleachers, in the areas outside the track. No footballs, Frisbees, loud music devices or barbeques please!
