Coach / Athlete Information Sheet

            Mountain View High School is pleased to be hosting the Central Oregon J.V. Track and Field Championships. As you are aware, the format is that the meet will be a championship for J.V. athletes.  This is intended to provide a top quality-culminating event for those athletes that will not be competing in their school’s league championship meet.

SCRATCHES / CHANGES:            No later than 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. Drops and name changes only.  Re-seeding may not occur. Changes in field events may be done at the event.

RUNNING EVENTS:            Boys will precede girls. All running events will be timed finals.

AWARDS:            Medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each event. At the conclusion of the meet, coaches will select and award a prize to the Boy and Girl Outstanding Athlete of the Meet.  The award winners from each event will be called out to the awards stand on the infield for award presentation as soon as event results are processed. No team scores will be kept.

ENTRIES:            Each participating school is allowed unlimited entries per event.  Entry is $50.00 (to help cover the cost of awards-make checks out to MVHS Track). Please make entries with best marks on Athletic.net by 12 noon on Tuesday, 5-10-10.

MEET RESULTS:            Timing of running events will be Fully Automatic. Complete results will be available for coaches at the conclusion of the meet on Athletic.net.
