TOP 16 FIELD EVENT EXTRAVAGANZA
A true field event invitational pitting the top 16 athletes in head to head competition in an exciting new two tier format.
This meet would feature a two tier system with athletes ranked 1-8 in the Invitational meet and athletes 9-16 in the seeded meet. Marks would be verified the Monday before on athletic.net and dyestat.cal
Each tier will recieve awards for first through third places.
The events will run on a time schedule found on athletic.net .
The horiitionzontal Jumps will allow only four jumps and run as a final.
The throwing events will allow only four throws and run as a final.
The vertical events will start at a height determined by the field of athletes and thier coaches prior to the meet.
The top athlete in the seeded meet will gain entrance to the Invitational Meet if he/she so chooses to compete. If the athlete competes in the invitational section his/her marks will NOT carry over from the competition in the seeded meet.
The cost for each competitor is $5.00 per event with a $150.00 team cap. Checks should be made payable to Placer Track boosters on or before the day of the event.
