Re: Palmer Invite and the Palmer Relays April 30th and May 1st.
There is a fee of $125.00 for each school attending this event.
You are invited to participate in the 2010 Palmer Invite on April 30th & the Palmer Relays on May 1st. These will be two separate meets. The following teams will be participating in the 2010 Palmer Invitational and Palmer Relays: Heritage, Kenny Lake, SuValley, ACS, Chugiak, Glennallen, Grace Christian, Houston, Kenai Central, Seward, Wasilla, West Anchorage, Homer, Colony, Kodiak and Palmer. We will also host four Special Olympic Events, the shot put, long jump, 100 m. dash and the unified 4x100 meter relay. Due to only having one jumping pit, we will be doing Triple Jump on Friday and Team Long Jump on Saturday. We will alternate those two events next year. High jump will occur on Friday only.
Palmer Invite April 30th: Unlimited entrants for individual events and two relays per team. Remember, athletes can only compete in 4 events. Please designate you’re a relay team and B relay team with alternates.
Palmer Relays May 1st: Registration limited to 3 athletes per school for individual events. Relays are limited to one team per school. All field events are limited to 4 participants per school. Remember, athletes can only compete in 4 events.
If your team needs housing at Palmer High School please contact Jeff Thiede immediately with the number of boys and girls.
***You will need to register your athletes on athletic.net by Wednesday April 28th at 5:00pm. We will send back team Entries and a meet program on Thursday, April 29th at 5:00pm. Remember to enter your athletes in events for both days. Because of our new format, Friday and Saturday are separate events which allows athletes 4 events on Friday and an additional 4 events on Saturday. Participation in a Special Olympics event will not count towards the four events. I would personally like to ask for you and your team’s support of our Special Olympic athletes and partners as they compete. Any questions about the entries contact:
