Time Schedule of Events- Dual Meet
Field Events
ORDER—Varsity first, followed by JV, except for the Discus
Events Starting at 3:45
Pole Vault – Boys Shot Put – Girls Varsity
High Jump – Girls (varsity & JV) Discus – Boys Junior Varsity
Long Jump (south runway) – Boys Javelin – Boys Varsity
Long Jump (north runway) – Girls
The girls will jump from the North runway and the boys from the South. Pits will be determined prior to the start of the meet depending on wind. Varsity will jump first in order. JV jumps will be announced as soon as varsity has finished competing and will be open pit for 40 minutes, depending on the total number of JV athletes. Each JV athlete will get 3 attempts as long as the pit is open.
When the above Field Events are completed, the Final Call for the other events will follow: High Jump – Boys; Triple Jump – Girls & Boys; Shot Put—Boys, Discus – Girls, Javelin—Girls, Pole Vault – Girls
Running Events
ORDER – Varsity first, followed by JV. * Times are approximate. WE WILL OPERATE ON A ROLLING SCHEDULE TO KEEP THE MEET MOVING AND FINISH IN A TIMELY FASHION. Athletes need to pay attention to the announcer’s call and events on the track to gauge their warm-up. Depending on the number of runners, the 1500 meters may be combined boys & girls. This will be determined by coaches from both teams prior to the start of the meet.
