Here are the links to our updated membership forms and Member and Parent Handbook. Please down load a copy of the material and review it thoroughly for there are some significant changes you need to be aware of.
1. AAU is no longer using the division names it used previously (i.e. Primary, Sub Bantam, Bantam etc. The new division are based on the age of the athlete based on the YEAR they were born. For example if your athlete was born in 2000 they are 13 years old regardless of when thier birthday fall. Meaning thier birthdate could be in August (after the season) but in June they will compete in the 13 yr old division.
2. In the member manual we have changed the practice rules reflect the following - "all athletes 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or supervising adult."

05/06/2012 - 2012 Season Opens: The 2012 Season is upon us and it's time to start to punch that ticket to the Nationals. We will be having an organizational meeting Monday, May 7th prior to the first day of practice. Attached is a link for the Membership form and Parent and Athlete's Manual for you to downloan and become familar with.
Our first meet is the Columbus Classic. There is also a link for information on that meet below as well.If you have any questions feel free to give me a call.
Congratulations to all of the younger kids that competed in the State Championships on the 29th of April.
07/04/2011 - National Championships Info - Great Job this weekend Jets. We really represented the Lake Erie District! Twenty-nine national qualifiers and 6 regional champions including our 2 realys. Here is some info on New Orleans.

08/16/2010 - 2010 Awards Picnic - Thanks to the nearly 70 family and friends who attended yesterday's Awards Picnic. It was a great celebration to the end of another successful season for the Jets and the Jets family. We were honored to have my friend and mentor Jack "JT" Thornton of the Warren Striders attend the event and give some words of encouragement to everyone. At the Picnic we honored the 23 "High Flying Scholars" who earned a GPA of 3.0 or better in the classroom this year and the 18 athletes who qualified for the AAU Junior Olympic National Championships. This years individual awards as selected by the coaching staff went to:

Congratulations on a great season Jets!
On a more somber note, our hearts and prayers go out to the family of Coach James "Smiley" Trawick, who died this past Friday, August 13th. Coach Trawick had been with the Jets since 2006, serving as one of our sprint coaches. Coach Trawick was a good friend and role model for all of our young people and he will be missed.
