CO District Championships

CO Middle School District Championship @ Redmond HS

Please sign up your athletes for the CO Middle School Championship by Monday, May 10^th at 8pm.  Please do so at  http://www.athletic.net.   I will send you a seeded lane assignment sheet on Wednesday, May 12^th prior to 3PM.    

HyTek will seed the meets by fastest entry times.  Please remember to enter a seed time for your relays as the website does not automatically enter theses from www.athletic.net.  We will upload results to http://www.athletic.net 

Admission to the Redmond HS Track will be as follows:

-$2.00/Adult

-$1.00/Student

-Under 6/Over 65 are free

-$5.00 cap per family

Remember, no profanity on the Redmond HS track.  Athletes will be subjected to immediate disqualification. Jewelry is not allowed and disqualification will result.

Absolutely no athlete is allowed in Redmond High School for any reason.  Come to the District Meet ready to compete in your uniform.  We have two bathrooms at the south end of the concessions stand and a port-a-potty on the north end of the field.  There should be no reason an athlete is to be inside the High School.  Athletes found inside the school will be disqualified from competition and all points scored will be forfeited.  Concessions will be available during the meet and results will be posted on the South end of the stadium.  No athletes are allowed in the press box, coaches only.   Remember to have only ¼” (7mm) spikes on the Redmond HS facility.  If longer spikes are discovered, the shoes will be impounded until the end of the meet.  In the field events that are followed one after another on the same venue, we will run ahead of schedule if possible.  Meaning, if the 7^th grade girls high jump finishes in 45 minutes, we’ll begin the 8^th grade girls high jump 20 minutes after the completion of the first event.  An athlete has 5 minutes to return to his or her field event following a race.  The bar may not be lowered.  An athlete should not leave a field event for a race until the second call for that race.  Bring your own shot’s and discus’ for the competition.  Each field event with multiple attempts will allow three (3) preliminary attempts for each competitor followed by the top seven (7) athletes returning for 2 final attempts.  The best mark of the 5 will count for the final mark.
