Start Time:

• 4:15 Coaches Meeting
• 4:30 Field Events
• 5:30 Running Events

Cost: $125 per gender or $200 for both teams.

Awards:

• Trophies: 1^st and 2^nd place for each gender
• Medals: 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd for each gender

Scoring:

• 6 places: 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1

Teams will be limited to the first SEVEN teams to respond and pay. Please direct responses to Denise Kerrigan at denise.kerrigan@wlps.net. Payments can be sent to the address above.

Order of Running Events: 1 relay entry per team. Girls Run First in 2011.

• 4 x Mile Relay (The event will take place during the field events, all athletes will run together, total team time will place each relay, this will be a cross-country style scoring ran on the track.)
• Shuttle Hurdles Girls 4 x 100, Boys 4 x 110
• 800 Relay         (4x200)
• 3200 Relay        (4x800)
• Sprint Medley 100, 100, 200, 400
• Frosh/Soph 400 Relay (4x100)*
• Varsity 400 Relay          (4x100)*
• Co-Ed Thundering Herd 400 Relay (4x100) **
• Distance Medley 1200, 400, 800, 1600
• Frosh/Soph 1600 Relay (4x400)*
• 1600 Relay        (4x400)*

* Athletes may participate in both events. Both events will be scored.

** Runners must have participated in a throwing event; the baton will be a girl’s discus. This event is not scored; medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams.

Field Events: 3 athletes per team. 

• Shot Put (Boys first followed immediately by Girls)

• Discus  (Girls first followed immediately by Boys)
• High Jump (Boys first followed immediately by Girls) Boys opening height 5’2” up 2” each round until 1 remains; Girls opening height 4’0” up 2” every round until 1 remains.
• Long Jump  (Girls first followed immediately by Boys) 60 minutes Open Pit

Each athlete’s best throw or jump will be combined with his/her teammates best to create the team total
