We are excited to once again host the Bedlington Twilight at Lynden High School on Friday March 25th 2011. There are 16 teams that have confirmed their desire to come to the meet and this is where we are going to cap it. Entries will be due on this site no later than 6:00pm Sunday March 20th. The cost is $75 per school (boys and girls). There will a coaches hospitality room, concessions and meet t-shirts and sweatshirts available for sale. There will also be a gate for fans which will be $2 for students, $3 for adults and $10 per family. We will award a trophy for the winning team and medals for the top 3 places...they look pretty good too.
Here is the update on the entry procedures for the meet.
We will use current marks. This will make it difficult since there is probably 1 maybe 2 meets before the entries are due. So we will use their current marks or coach's estimated current marks. Actual marks from this season may be given preference. Please do your best. If you wish for an athlete or athletes to be in the meet it would be best to get them in your season opening meet. I will do my best to be as fair as possible.
Each team may enter 3 individuals for each event and 2 relays. I will fill the 3rd heat based on the rest of the entries. Take advantage of the relays in order to get more kids involved.
***Update *** 2/21/11 - The event schedule was incorrect - it now has been updated. We will use a rolling schedule so the times are only there to get the events in order.
