As we have in the past, we will be using the Wisconsin Scoring Method where each team will be limited to three athletes per event but everyone who finishes will score. First place will receive 24 points, second 23 points, third 22 points and so on, Relays will be scored 24, 21, 18, 15, 12, 9, 6, and 3. We will also once again be using our athletic.net to Hy-Tek, to our Finish Lynx FAT timing system.
Please register your athletes on athletic.net initially by noon on Friday, April 1st and then you will be able to make any corrections on computers available at the site by 10am on the day of the meet. Field events will begin at 10:30am and running events at noon. There will be a full schedule of events very soon on athletic.net.
This being a very early meet in the year, we want to place athletes in the best flight or heat for them to do well. Please feel free to use the override feature to add in a overall best time or mark if they do not have a mark yet this season or if they have a far superior mark last year. All non-bar field events will be done in seeded flights with three preliminary attempts and the top eight getting three final attempts. However all participants will earn a place and a score. Lane running events will be done in seeded heats with the fastest heat last.
Medals will be given to the top two finishers and ribbons to sixth place. A team plaque will be given to the top Girls and Boys teams. The entry fee is $100 per team to help defray the cost of the meet. Please send your check or give it to our athletic director Craig Rothenberger at the meet. A concession stand will be available.
