Winter Time Trials 2011

Watsonville High School would like to invite you to the Winter Time Trials to be held at Geiser Field on the campus of Watsonville High School. This meet offers you the opportunity to get early season times and marks for upcoming invitationals.
This meet is dedicated to Coach Lloyd “Bud” Winter who was one of the most influential track coaches America has ever known. He was the renowned coach of “Speed City” San Jose State University and coached the 1964 United States Olympic Track and Field team that competed in Rome. He began his coaching career assisting Emmett Geiser at Watsonville Union High School where he met his wife and moved on to bigger and greater things. Some of his Hall of Fame athletes included Harold Davis, Lee Evans, John Carlos, and Tommy Smith.
Geiser Field is host to the MBL Championships and is an all-weather facility. We are using
FinishLynx timing system for all races.
Entries will be on Athletic.net website where you can enter your athletes before the meet. If you cannot do so, please do not fear, as we can accommodate your athletes on the meet day.
