Dear Track Coach,
Wichita Falls High School would like to invite you and your team to the Wichita Falls Regional Qualifiers Meet to be held on Friday, April 22, 2011. THE TRACK HAS BEEN RESURFACED!!
Our start time will include a 2:30 pm scratch meeting, a 3:00 pm field event start, and running events will start at 3:30 pm with the 3200 and we will roll from there into the remainder of the running events.
This Meet is open to all classifications 1A – 4A.
Remember only Regional Qualifiers and your alternates are eligible to compete. Those Qualifiers can compete in events they did not qualify in (ex. If an athlete qualifies for Regional Meet in the 4 x 400 relay
He/she can also run the open 400 if you choose). The 2-3 Rule still applies (3-running and 2-field or 2-running and 3-field.)
Open events & relays will be run for time. Teams will be pre-assigned lanes by a random draw done by the computer. You will have to enter your athletes through www.athletic.net this season. You will be responsible for making sure your athletes are in the events you want them in by the assigned deadline date. After the final deadline there will be scratches only on the day of the meet.
Field Events will be limited 4 attempts in the Varsity Girls and Boys Divisions
The meet will be held at McNiel Junior High School, across the parking lot from Memorial Stadium. This year’s meet will include all UIL events. Metals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event; plaques will be given to first place finishers in each relay.

ENTRY FEE: Friday April 22, 2011
The entry fee for this year’s meet will be $10.00 per athlete with a maximum of
$120 per team per division.
Entry fees should be paid to: WFHS
Entry fees should be mailed to the address below, or paid the day of the meet at,
the scratch site.
