PLS 1A Track Classic
Portland Lutheran would like to welcome you to the Portland Lutheran Track Classic. It is our goal to make this a meet that will attract top-level, championship teams. With District meets the following week, we hope the Track Classic will be a venue to provide quality competition prior to your District meets.
This will be a meet that we hope continues to evolve over the next few seasons. We are committed to a well run, championship type meet with the very best caliber of athletes that we can attract. In order to help achieve these goals, we have established standards which will help guarantee this is the case. All of the qualifying marks are listed on the meet registration page. The number of competitors will be limited to help ensure the meet is completed in a timely fashion and on schedule.
To reflect the caliber of athletes who will be involved the top three place winners will receive medals and the fourth thru eighth place finishers will receive ribbons. A trophy will be awarded to the winning team for each gender.
An entry fee will be collected to help offset the expense of the awards. The fee will be $5 per athlete to a maximum of $30 per gender per team (max of $60 per school).
The meet will begin at 11:00 AM for all events. Implement weigh-in will begin at 10:00 and a coaches meeting will be at 10:15 AM.
