2012 Wally Ciochetti Invitational

• Entry Fee $125 per team     1-10 individuals  $75

• Entries are due on athletic.net by 8pm on Wednesday, May 9th
• Entries limited to 3 VARSITY LEVEL ATHLETES per event.   In an effort to conclude the meet at a reasonable time we ask coaches to use discretion when entering athletes.  While you are allowed 3 entries per event, please consider the quality of an athlete’s time or mark before entering them.  If an athlete has not met these MINIMAL marks or times please consider NOT entering them.

• NO additions will be allowed on day of the meet only scratches
• Field Events will be run in flights.  The top nine performances from preliminaries will advance to finals.
• Team points will be awarded to the best times, distances, and heights of all participants.  Medals will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place...ribbons for places 3-8.  Team trophies will be awarded for the first place in the boys and girls.
• High Jump opening height for girls 4' 4" boys 5' 4"
• All times will be FAT
• All non-competitors need to stay off the infield.
• Please notify the clerk ASAP if you know an athlete will be scratching an event.  We will do our best to combine heats if we know there are several scratches ahead of time.
• Running event competitors must check in at the clerk circle on second call.

Time Schedule

We will be making an effort to move the meet along as efficiently as possible.  Events will be run at the earliest convenience so athletes should pay attention to what is happening on the track and in the field.

1:30 - SCRATCH MEETING

FIELD EVENTS

2:00 – Mens Pole Vault followed by Womens Pole Vault

2:00 – Womens Javelin followed by Mens Javelin

2:00 – Mens Discus followed by Womens Discus

2:30 – Womens Long Jump followed by Womens Triple Jump (East/West Pit)

2:30 – Mens Long Jump followed by Mens Triple Jump (North/South Pit)

2:30 – Womens High Jump followed by Mens High Jump

2:30 – Womens Shot Put followed by Mens Shot Put
