Dear Track & Field Coach:
As you begin to plan for the 2008 track and field season, I would like to invite your team
to participate in the 2008 Aloha Relays, which will take place on Saturday, April 19th.
The 2007 Aloha Relays saw 16 teams compete from around Oregon, and produced many
top season marks for numerous athletes. This year we're welcoming 24 of the top
programs in the state. In addition to great competition, we will award trophies to the top
three teams, and medals to the top three individuals/relay teams in each event!
The Aloha High School track and field facility has been recently updated in order to
assist with this Track Meet. The track and all runways were resurfaced, and a new press
box was installed. Additionally, we've had Field Turf installed allowing for great
competition at a very nice facility.
The meet does feature several unique components: We run 5 relay events (4X100,
4X200, 4X400, 4X800, and DMR). We will run a scored Frosh/Soph 100m and 1500m
races. There will be an invitational 3000m where selected individuals from around the
state will be invited to compete.

week/two ($200 again)
Reminder: The meet this year will be on a Saturday in order to accompany
the large number of competitors.
