WELCOME TO THE NORTH SALINAS TRACK & FIELD INVITATIONAL! THIS YEAR'S MEET WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, APRIL 5TH, 2008.
We are now entering the 17th year of this extrodinary event. The first fourteen years were focused only on our frosh-soph athletes. We are proud of the fact that we were pioneers in the development of an invitational that included our younger athletes. When the F/S invite began it was very difficult to find Saturday meets that had competition for our F/S athletes (and then it was only the boys). We believe the success of our meet has created a ground swelling that now has most meets including both boys and girls F/S competitions.
Three years ago, we added varsity to the competition. This has been met with much enthusiasm from coaches. Our focus will still be on the F/S experience, but we will enjoy the watching the older competitiors compete as well.
