Welcome to the 1st Annual Top "8" Track and Field Meet
Results from meets that take place on Tuesday, April 28, will be checked in order to update athletes for the "Top 8 Meet". This information will be sent out on Wednesday, April 29 with information. Thanks Very Much. :>)
(One heat final on May 1 in Oroville, 4:00pm ) This is for the top 8 individual athletes only from the three leagues in our area, including the (CTL, 2B, 1B, Republic and Curlew).in every event (boys & girls) plus relays.
Coaches may need to have their good athletes drop a meet in order to participate with the WIAA 10 meet rule.
CTL= Omak, Tonasket, Okanogan, Brewster, Chelan, Cascade, Lake Roosevelt
2B= Oroville, Liberty Bell, Bridgeport, Manson, Waterville, Entiat.
1B= Mansfield, Pateros, .
No team score will be kept.
If an athlete chooses not to attend this meet then the next NCW ranked athlete will move up into the available slot. All field events would be finals with 8 athletes,,,with each having 6 throws or jumps.
Meet will include top 3 place awards.
Every school will be required to have one coach help administering a field event, (thus insuring a top level quality meet)
