The top athlete and top relay will advance to the District meet May 21st at Eastern Washington University.
Scoring: Ind. Events--6-4-3-2-1, Relays—6-4-2
Rules for Field Events:
Pole Vault – Starting heights will be determined at coaches meeting.
High Jump – Boys will start at 5’0 and the bar will be raised at 2” intervals to 6’0 and 1” thereafter.
Girls high jump will start at 4”0 and be raised at 2” intervals to 5’0 and 1” thereafter.
Javelin – Javelins must be provided by each school(schools responsible for legality of implements)
Shot/Discus – Schools must provide their own shots and Discs.
Participants in field events will be allowed a maximum of one and a half minutes after he/she is called as a competitor for an attempt. Running events take precedence over field events.
An entry in a field event will have the privilege of competing one turn before leaving for a running event.
Preliminaries and Finals:
Six competitors shall qualify for the finals in the Shot, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump, and Javelin. The order in the finals shall start with the 6th best mark. The top mark from prelims will be the final competitor in the finals.

All warm-up attempts must be completed prior to the start of competition in the event

Legal attempts must be measured and recorded during the competition.

Fouls will NOT be measured under any circumstances.
All NFHS rules will be adhered to.
