Mt. Shasta “Time Trials” Meet

You are invited to the Time Trials. As in the past, this is an informal track & field event that provides an opportunity for small school athletes.
The meet will be contested if the weather isn’t horrible…as Mt. Shasta weather can be in April. If the meet is cancelled, schools will be notified 24 hours in advance!
There aren’t:
Ø team scores
Ø awards
Ø entry fees.
We do ask that you do the following:
Entries close at 6:00pm, Tuesday, April 27 on athletic.net!.
1) Sign-up your team up to participate on Athletic.net.
2) Enter individual athletes into events on Athletic.net.
3) Give each of your athletes their corresponding competitor number (from your packet) when you arrive.
4) Provide one adult to officiate one of the following field events:
a) Long Jump
b) Triple Jump
c) Shot Put
d) Discus
e) High Jump
Mt. Shasta does not have a pole vault venue or equipment.
Mt. Shasta High School will:

Provide a starter

Create heats and a program based on Athletic.net entries

Manage the starting line and finish line, including F.A.T.

Provide tapes, clipboards, rakes and event sheets for field events.

Post results on Athletic.net.
ü Enter your school on Athletic.net by Tuesday, April 27 if you are planning to participate. Enter athletes into events on Athletic.net also. Some additional entries may be made at the meet.
ü Please e-mail me (snesheim@sisuhsd.net) to indicate your choice of a field event to officiate. I will confirm your officiating obligations (by e-mail) by April 28.
