Thanks for confirming your participation in the first annual Dinuba Invitational on Friday, April 30!
There has been a lot more interest than I had originally anticipated. More than 15 schools have confirmed participation in this year’s event! While this will be great for everyone to get one last chance at a quality meet before League and Valley Championships, it has resulted in the necessity of limiting the number of participants from each school. One of my goals for this meet was, and is, to get as many athletes into each event. I had originally hoped to allow every entry into the meet, but the shear number of participants would have us racing past midnight in order to get everyone in. Therefore, there will be a maximum of six athletes per event from each school (six boys, six girls). In addition, there will only be frosh/soph boys events in the 4x100, 4x400, and 1600 meter runs. Because of the limited number of frosh/soph events, frosh/soph athletes may compete in both divisions.

We will use Athletic.net for all meet entries. The entry deadline is Tuesday, April 20.

Entries: Maximum of 6 athletes in all events. Frosh/Soph Boys division will only compete in the 4x100, 4x400, and the 1600-meter run. Because of this, frosh/soph boys will be able to compete in both divisions.

Entry Fees: $6.00 per athlete per event and $10.00 per relay team. There is a $200.00 maximum entry fee. Once your athlete has qualified, you will be expected to pay for him/her whether or not they compete.
Make checks payable to Dinuba HS Track.
Do not mail your check. Hand carry your check. Pay at the gate, personal check or school check. If you do not pay in advance, you will be charged the maximum of $200.00.
Awards: Medals to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in Varsity. No team awards.
Implements: Will be weighed and measured between 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Spikes: 3/16” pyramid only - - no needle nose.
Glass: Tell your athletes that they may not bring glass into the stadium.
No open radios allowed. (MP3 players okay outside competition area)
Field Events: 3 attempts, no finals. Time allowance of 30 minutes up to the end of the flight will be given to athletes with a running event conflict.
Timing: Races will be timed using button timing. 3 watches will be used on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in order to use as qualifying mark for Valley.
Stadium Entry: Teams will enter from west side of stadium off of College St.
Coaches are not allowed on the field.
