Pikesville Track Classic, Saturday, April 13
The Pikesville Track Classic will be taking place this Saturday, April 13...Meet will take place at Pikesville HS near Towson, and the meet promises to showcase some of the finer talent in the area... Around 30+ teams will be attending the meet, with Track events commencing at 9:00 am, while Field events start at 10:00 am...The meet is enjoyable for athletes and spectators alike, with a very good atmosphere conducive to a great Track and Field experience... There will be a $5 entry fee and plenty of food options in the stadium... Busses will be leaving AHS at 6:30 am... Parents and fans--please sport your favorite Atholton Green and show your Raider pride!...Good luck, Raiders!!
Crimson Tide Invitational--Saturday, April 6
This Saturday, April 6 will be the Crimson Tide Invitational, which is being held at Spingarn HS in SE D.C...We should actually have some decent track weather tomorrow so please come support, and watch our Raiders produce some good performances...There will be plenty of parking on the school property and the entry fee for spectators will be $5...We will be leaving AHS at 6:30am in order to avoid the expected traffic volume due to the Cherry Blossoms Fest...Meet schedule can be found on the "info" in the "meet schedule" section, with track and field events beginning at 8:30am...Get rest, drink lots of H2O, and come prepared to represent tomorrow...Good luck, Raiders!!!
Atholton, Mt. Hebron, Reservoir Tri-meet, March 27
Wednesday, March 27 will be our first tri-meet of the year. We will be facing Mt. Hebron and Reservoir with the meet being held at Reservoir HS. Field/Track events begin at 4:00pm. The full team should be present for this meet, as this meet will serve as a qualifier for the upcoming invitationals we currently have scheduled. 1st bus leaves at 2:35 from Atholton; 2nd bus will shuttle the remainder of the kids over to the meet...Come support your Raiders. Duckworth Relays--Saturday, March 23
The outdoor track season finally approaches...This Saturday, March 23, the Duckworth Relays will be taking place at Glenelg HS. Both Track and Field events will begin at 10:00 am. The bus(ses) will be leaving Atholton @ 7:30 am...Parking and seating are plentiful, but please come early and support. This meet will consist solely of relay events on the track, while the field events will consist of combining the top three team marks for an overall result...Because this is a HoCo sponsored event, the general admission fee will be $5 for ages 7 & up...Raiders--rest up and get ready to race this Saturday and let's have a great start to what hopefully will be a fantastic 2013 outdoor campaign!
